As a body modification artist, dee provides her clientele with 23 years of professional body piercing, troubleshooting and industry experience.

she has a team of dedicated and talented piercers and jewelry stylists behind her who always offer Coven clients only the best of the best.

dee knows the importance of continuing her own education as well as that of her staff so, we stay up to date with new sterilization advancements and ideas in the industry and our staff is always excited to chat about the latest trending piercing or jewelry curations!

Halle

Halle is Coven’s new receptionist/Jewelry Stylist! She is the face behind the screen and will be the first face to give you a warm welcome at the studio. Halle has been working in the customer service industry for 8+ years and loves to get to know all the faces she sees on a day to day. She is passionate about being able to play a small role in helping all our wonderful clients feel their best and most beautiful from when they enter the studio to when they leave! When she is not working, you can find me with my rescue dog Karmen, exploring nature, or at a yoga class!

Deanna Mae

The owner and head piercer at Coven, Dee has been professionally piercing in the calgary area for 23 years.
Dee’s efficient piercing technique and her calming bedside manner will soothe even the most anxious of piercees.
her dedication to her craft and her clients is apparant to all who come to see dee for any service.
She loves to express her artistic side through piercing performance art and specializes in infant and children’s ear piercings and below-the-belt piercings.
Sadie

Sadie is our junior piercer/apprentice at Coven! She is always looking for new clients to practice her craft on. Check her out on Instagram at @piercingsbysadiejade to stay updated on new piercings that she is working on. Some of her favourite piercings to do are Tragus’, Navels, and Rooks.
After working in kitchens for 5 years, she jumped into the body modification industry and has never felt more at home; always giving our clients the most professional piercing studio experience possible.
Sadie has always loved to express herself in creative and unique ways and felt drawn to the industry since she received her very first piercing. She promotes and uses body modification as an art form and has many future body modifications planned.
Hailey

Hailey has been piercing for 8 years collectively; after attending college for a few years she realized a traditional job was not for her so she left to pursue a piercing apprenticeship at 19 years old. she has always been enamoured by body art and modification and loves the self-expression and ritualistic practice that the body art world revolves around.
Her approach to body piercing is focused on the clients experience and she appreciates that she is able to mark a milestone for many clients with piercings. Every day is different and she feels honored that clients trust her with their bodies.

Emery

Emery loves all that glitters and all that is gold! They have a particular proclivity for jewelry styling and ear curations so they are always excited to help you find that perfect piece to add to your current collection, or create an entirely new look!
Emery has been piercing for 6 years and has worked closely with Dee in the past. Their passion for body piercing, beautiful jewelry and self-expression brings new concepts and ideas to the studio and our clients!
Emery’s calm and consenting bedside manner pairs well with nervous clients and they will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable and at ease during your time at the studio.
Fae

Fae is our newest front of house addition at Coven!
She is new to the piercing industry, and has a lot of passion for making sure every clients experience is a welcoming and positive one. Fae loves to help curate clients jewelry, and has a knack for social media. She likes to create fun reels of all the gorgeous pieces of jewelry we bring in to the shop on her Instagram, @fae.adorned.
As a mom she spends the majority of her time with her little family, but the spare time she has is spent creating art and gaming with her son or taking the family dog out for adventures!
